what to expect

Worship 

Our worship service is welcoming and focused on the good news of what God has done in Jesus. Our musical worship uses a mix of hymns and more contemporary songs, as well as the Choir (during the school year), and occasional Special Music.

The congregation participates in communion, sharing prayer concerns, and offering testimonies once each month.

A time of healing prayer is offered by our Deacons after church on 5th Sundays. The remaining dates for 2026 are August 30th & November 29th.

FORMATION, EDUCATION, & fellowship

Adult Sunday School starting 9/20 @ 9AM: Calvary Class. Join the pastors for an introduction to Calvary’s beliefs, history, culture, and ministries.

Sunday Lunch- usually meets in the Fellowship Hall each week. BYOL and enjoy good conversation!

Not Youth Group- young(ish) adult fellowship; meets third Mondays during the school year @ 6pm for dinner and discussion. Childcare provided.

Wednesday Prayer- 9.30AM in the Nursery.

Golden Oldies - breakfast at Cornerstone Restaurant @ 9AM. Contact the church office for dates!

Men’s Prayer Breakfast- 8AM on third Saturdays.

CHILDren’s Ministry

Calvary offers Nursery ministry for children 0-5 years old.

Children’s Church is offered during the second half of service, for 6-10ish year olds. CC is on break the first and last Sunday of the year, as well as during the summer months.

Children’s Sunday School is offered at 9AM during the fall and spring semesters. The kids spend the first little while in musical worship, and then split into older & younger age groups for a Bible lesson.

youth ministry

The WAY Ministries is offered to JH and HS students in partnership with Highview Christian and Washington Christian Church. We meet most Sundays from 6-8pm for games, musical worship, Bible teaching, and small groups. Contact Pastor Ben (wanderingwildgoat@protonmail.com) for more information!
